The programme
What the Pooja Farmers Group is.
PFG is a Forest Management group certificate under the FSC® scheme for Small and Low Intensity Managed Forests (SLIMF). It is aimed at promoting the sustainability of growers associated with farm plantation and its management.
In plain terms: a single certificate covers many small growers together. You get the benefit of certification without carrying its cost and paperwork alone, and the timber you sell can be traced back to the plot it grew on — which is what export buyers increasingly demand.
The group is registered as PoojaPlus Farmer Producer Company Limited, based at Village Bai ka Bas, Kaladera, Tehsil Chomu, Jaipur, Rajasthan. “Pooja Farmers Group (PFG)” is the name the same body carries on the FSC® certificate, so you will see both on our signage and paperwork.
It is run alongside Pooja Wood House, a Jaipur timber supplier operating since 2005 with nine sawing and seasoning units across three states. We are the people who will actually buy your trees.

Benefits
What you get as a member.
सदस्यता के लाभ
FSC® certification
Your plot is covered by the PFG group certificate — no individual audit fee, no certificate to maintain on your own.
A ready buyer
Pooja Wood House buys farm timber across our operating districts. At harvest you are not hunting for a trader.
Certified export markets
Certified material reaches buyers who will not touch uncertified timber — a wider market for the same tree.
Plantation guidance
Advice on species choice, spacing and rotation so the next crop is worth more than this one.
Records kept simple
Plot boundary, species, numbers and dates. Our field team sets it up with you at enrolment.
Felling & haulage handled
When you sell to us, we organise cutting and transport. You are not arranging trucks.
Membership of a producer company
The group is registered as PoojaPlus Farmer Producer Company Limited. Growers who join are members of the producer company, not merely suppliers to it.
Eligibility
Who can join.
- You own or hold rights over the land the trees stand on.
- The trees are farm-planted — on fields, bunds, canal banks or plantation plots. Not natural forest.
- The plot is within a district where Pooja Wood House operates, or close enough to reach it.
- Species are those we mill: mango, neem, babool, khair, sheesham, eucalyptus, acacia, sirish, arjun, lambu and similar.
- You are willing to keep basic plot records and permit a periodic field visit.
Small plots are welcome — the SLIMF certificate exists precisely for smallholdings and boundary plantings.

Questions
What growers usually ask.
Is PoojaPlus FPC the same as the Pooja Farmers Group?
Yes. PoojaPlus Farmer Producer Company Limited is the registered producer company; “Pooja Farmers Group (PFG)” is the name it carries on the FSC® forest management certificate. Same body, two names.
जी हाँ — दोनों एक ही संस्था के नाम हैं।
Does it cost anything to join?
A group certificate exists so that the certification cost sits with the group rather than with each smallholder. Ask the farmer desk for the current terms in your district.
Do I have to sell only to Pooja Wood House?
Membership is about shared certification and a working relationship. Discuss what is expected in your district with our team before you enrol.
How small can my plot be?
The certificate is built for Small and Low Intensity Managed Forests. Boundary rows and small plots are exactly what it is designed for.
When should trees be harvested?
It depends on species and end use. Our field team will advise, and it is usually worth waiting for the right girth rather than cutting early.
Who arranges cutting and transport?
We do, when you sell to us. Felling and haulage are organised from our side.
What records do I have to keep?
Plot location and boundary, species and approximate numbers, planting and harvest dates. We help set this up at enrolment and keep it proportionate to a smallholding.
Have trees ready to sell?
Register your plot and we will send a field team. No obligation.
